I’m Jingting Xie, welcome to my website.

My cross-cultural background and the different roles I take on in life shape how I see the world, helping me bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to every project. That’s also what draws me to design: seeing how different cultural perspectives come together to spark new ideas and unexpected possibilities.

While raising my two young children, I continued developing my design skills through self-directed UX/UI projects. My background in media production gives me a strong foundation in visual storytelling, while motherhood has strengthened my patience, empathy, and awareness of the challenges people navigate in everyday life.

These experiences inspire me to bring Eastern cultural perspectives into modern, accessible digital experiences. My recent project, Dao Path, explores how traditional Daoist practices can be thoughtfully translated into a bilingual mobile experience for today’s users.

I’m currently seeking a UX/UI or product design opportunity where I can contribute this perspective and create products that feel both useful and meaningful.
